Kim MacDonald-Vibert, APR, BPR, MBA
President and Strategist
Kim thinks a little differently than most. You could say she is someone who colours outside the lines. That perspective will add a fresh point of view to your business or organization. She is always ready to tackle a new industry, present a new approach or take on a new marketing challenge.
Kim is an experienced leader with a background in marketing, business growth planning, communications and business development. She created Alidade Marketing in 2000. Her entrepreneurial spirit was ignited and grew while studying the effect of change on organizations undergoing growth or repositioning for her Masters thesis. She found that, while the province boasted several established advertising and public relations agencies, few companies and organizations in the province had access to marketing expertise.
She is a skilled facilitator and has led executive teams through business planning, marketing strategy planning, branding projects, re-positioning and expansions. She has also developed major customer acquisition plans. She understands product life cycles and customer buying patterns.
Kim's greatest strength may be as a team builder. She is comfortable leading and collaborating. She brings deep business experience and on-the-ground international sales experience. She can translate complex problems and challenges into creative and viable solutions. She works hard to assemble exactly the right team for each client.
Kim has taught at Mount Saint Vincent University and the Nova Scotia Community College. Kim brings a record of achievement in project management, holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, accreditation in Public Relations and Bachelor of Public Relations. Kim loves running long distances up big mountains and has an ongoing love affair with the French language.
